MPs question Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron - Foreign Affairs Committee - 9 January 2024
The House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee examines the expenditure, administration and policy of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and associated bodies.
From 2:30pm on Tuesday 9 January, the Committee will hear from the Foreign Secretary, the Rt Hon. Lord Cameron of Chipping Norton, as part of its inquiry into the work of the FCDO. The session will likely examine his approach to the role, examine his broader vision and strategy for the UK’s foreign policy, as well as scrutinise his long-term priorities for the FCDO.
The Committee is also likely to discuss the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas and the UK’s engagement with the Middle East and North Africa. The Committee may also examine the future of the UK’s relationship with China.
